Project: Heritage Varieties

This initiative focuses on the mapping and conservation of heritage varieties of fruit trees originating from the early period of the global exchange of species. The research includes mapping the characteristics of the fruit and trees, collecting propagation material, developing propagation protocols, and planting the trees in refuge orchards.
