How do students perceive the concept of “democracy” and the values associated with it? What role does the school play in shaping students’ democratic perceptions? The initiative “Investigating Israeli Democracy” was developed by the Center for Citizen Science in Schools in response to the major social and political controversy that divided Israeli society in 2023. As participants in the initiative, students contribute to a nationwide study conducted by Uriel Abulof and Roy Perelstein-Dvir.
